BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT

TODAY was ANOTHER momentous day!! Due to popular request, we have officially opened the forum to North Trail fifth wheels!!
I mean, they are our kinfolk. C'mon now, how can you turn away kinfolk! They look like us, smell like us and act like us..they're just on the taller side of our family. :)
Glad they are on the forum now.
And we now have 28 forum members!! YEA! That's what I'm talking bout! I 'd like to thank all of the forum members and the mods for helping build the forum. Also, I'd like to thank Bryan for helping be a great conduit to the factory for us. Good job. Tell em I said you need a raise!

Well, that's all for now, I just wanted to update everyone to our new family members in the house..the North Trail fivers...

THE FORUM IS LIVE!!!

Well, today is momentous. Today we GO LIVE with the new forum. As you'll see the big red button on the right, it links to the new forum. I tell you this has been a MAJOR undertaking for me. Having been on several forums, I've always wondered HOW they made those forums. Well, now I know. Sometimes, it's ok to NOT know everything. haha
Anyway, I've learned a lot. And it looks to be promising as to how many members we will soon have on the forum.
To answer a big question: No, I am not obsessed with North Trails. I am was taken with the quality of the unit as we walked in it for the first time. And after towing it, my affection for it only grew larger and larger. I built this place to exchange information and media in particular to the world. This is a brand new unit and there, currently, are not a lot of visual reference out there for potential owners to see.
You will notice a change in the BLOG itself. It is essentially a portal now and more of a business center. The blog will have business type highlights. It is where people can come get business information and links There will be ads on the BLOG ONLY..It is starting with Kerry West RV in Dexter, MO. being front and center. Kerry, thanks for your financial support of the forum.
(and personal thanks for being such a good dealer, they are far and few between now.)
The new forum will be for personal insights, conversations and postings about the North Trail.
It is only for North Trail travel trailer owners or those with units on order as described in the FAQ section.
So, I hope that you enjoy the forum, and the blog. A lot of work has went into developing it, it becomes a labor of love after about 8 pots of coffee of work. :)
My plans are to get this up and running with a good foundation. Then, to enjoy the REAL camping life.
I am fortunate to have two very conscientious mods; Jennifer and Paul. Thank you both for pitching in here. I feel sure you will ensure the ship is run well.
Thanks to Bryan at Heartland for agreeing to answer factory questions on the forum. There is nothing that he doesn't know about Heartland. Should there be something that is challenging to him, he will find the answer. One on One factory support is one reason I purchased this unit. There is not a lot of micro-managing going on that I see.

The new forums will link from here. So you won't need to go anywhere else. THIS is the home of the North Trailers.

Are you considering buying a camper? Upgrading from a tent or a popup? Or just plain curious about what a North Trail camper is like? Well, you have come to the right spot. Here, you'll find actual owners of these units.
Although Heartland RV has been around for only a few years, it has a proven record of growth in the fifth wheel industry with it's Bighorn. The North Trail travel trailer was first introduced in 2007. On this blog, you'll read real stories by real North Trail owners. You'll read specifically about how well it tows and better MPG. The upgraded inside amenities and the quality material and design outside of the trailer make for the perfect travel trailer.

This is going to be the place to discuss your North Trail camper. NO camper prices on here. It's ok to say you got a better deal at so and so. But, no numbers.
