HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO US!

WOW! Can you believe it's been ONE year since we started this gig? Here are our recent stats:
Threads: 1,183, Posts: 7,132, Members: 112, Active Members: 67
I couldn't be more proud of a bunch of people. So many new friends have been made. So many things have been shared and learned.
These are trying economic times right now. Our nation has seen them before and I'm sure that once this challenge is corrected, we will see more. We've overcome recessions, depressions, terrorist attacks on our homeground and still we have persevered by God's hand. While we regain our economic footing, it is great to know that we can temporarily escape by camping. We may not stay gone as long, go as far, or make as many Camping World trips, but...we camp.
We stop, we listen to crickets, laughter, water ripples, leaves falling and we see our family and friends in a new relaxing light. We have the chance to see them like we don't see them at home sometimes because we are all busy.
And, we make memories.
So, let's keep our chins up and know that as a group of campers, we can support each other and enjoy our camping lives.
I'd like to thank each of you for stepping in and helping when needed. I'd like to thank Heartland for helping us on the forum.
Below are some comments from our members regarding our first birthday:

My how we have grown!
Here are our stats to date:
Threads: 955, Posts: 5,289, Members: 90, Active Members: 53.
We have so many threads now, it's hard to keep up with them all. We have two moderators and getting ready to add a third. We will be adding a "movie review" and this moderator will be in charge of moderating it.
Also, we have a new factory representative, Mike Creech, who absorbed the "ask Bryan" forum. Mike has been very helpful already in answering some questions.
And we now have a "the Factory asks YOU" forum where Mike will ask questions and get input from us, the North Trail owners.
We have had a very successful first full camping year with our North Trails. Many great stories of family fun have been shared, some with photos.
There have been some opportunities that Heartland has worked diligently to correct as any good production line would when a new model is introduced.
My goals over the winter are to upgrade the forum software to it's newest version, along with the help of Techman, my North Trailer member/moderator computer tech!
Also, to finalize a deal with a company to produce North Trailer merchandise.
I wasn't sure about continuing the blog part of this, or just creating a regular looking webpage as home page of thenorthtrailers.com.
But, it appears that this blog way is working just fine...at least for now.
I invite each of you to go on over to the forum to get more in depth information about these wonderful units that we are all proud to own and talk about.
Visitors can ask a question easily in the guest room without registering.
Have a great day!

2009 28BHS Upgrades..

CHECK OUT THE DIAMOND PLATE FRONT!!! CHECK OUT THE SPANKY NEW GRAPHICS, CHECK OUT THE ADDITIONAL OUTLET under the bunk, CHECK OUT (well, you can't see it but) CHECK OUT THE GAS/ELECTRIC WATER HEATER!!
This is one of the first to roll out with the new improvements. And I'm proud to say that we have traded for THIS unit. :)
Heartland makes such a quality product and on behalf of the North Trailers, we encourage you to check out or forum and ask us questions in the guest room.

Just when you didn't think it could get better, Heartland has made some nice improvements on it's units. Please check out the attached picture to see how they have listened to and acted upon feedback from their customers. In today's world, isn't it great to know that your opinions are heard??
